RIYADH: Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan met with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Wednesday in Washington, D.C.
The two officials discussed strengthening coordination and joint efforts on key regional and international issues, including the situations in Gaza, Sudan, Yemen, and the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
They also reviewed ways to enhance the strategic bilateral relationship and explored opportunities for cooperation across various sectors, along with efforts to promote global peace and security.
Saudi Ambassador to the U.S., Princess Reema bint Bandar, attended the meeting.
Prince Faisal arrived in the United States on Tuesday for an official visit.
